Automatic Sump Pumps for Basement Water Removal
Choose a VEVOR 0.5 HP or 1.5 HP submersible sump pump for a compatible indoor basement water basin. Both options use an automatic float switch. Select the horsepower option before ordering: electrical requirements, lift capacity and installation clearance differ by model.
Choose the Right Configuration
- 1.5 HP — SP07502VD: rated at 1100 W with a maximum flow of 6000 GPH and maximum lift of 33 ft. Includes a vertical float switch and discharge adaptor.
- 0.5 HP — LSC-371PS: rated for 110–120 V, 60 Hz and 5 A, with a listed maximum lift of 28 ft.
- Performance guidance: maximum flow and maximum lift are separate limits, not simultaneous performance. Actual delivery depends on lift, pipework and the installation.

Installation and Fit
- Choose the SKU for your electrical supply, lift requirement and available sump pit space.
- Check the selected model's discharge connection and leave clearance for float movement.
- Install the discharge plumbing and position the pump following the supplied manual.
- Connect to a properly grounded, GFCI-protected supply as directed by the product label; test float operation before relying on the installation.
Product-label restrictions: indoor water use only. Do not run dry. The product labels state these pumps have not been investigated for swimming pools or marine areas. Follow the supplied manual for installation and operating limits.
Care Guidance
Disconnect power before inspection or maintenance. Keep the inlet and float area free of debris, and periodically check automatic operation following the manufacturer's instructions.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are the two horsepower options identical?
No. They have different models, electrical ratings, lift limits and installation clearances. Use the SKU comparison above.
Does 6000 GPH apply to both options?
No. The 6000 GPH maximum is listed for the 1.5 HP model only, and is not the flow at its maximum 33 ft lift.
Will the pump operate automatically?
Both options have an automatic float switch. The 1.5 HP model lists start and stop levels above 8.7 in and below 4.7 in respectively.
Is the discharge adaptor included?
The 1.5 HP packing list includes one discharge adaptor. Confirm the selected configuration's accessory requirements before ordering.
