As of now, approximately 81% of travelers are reportedly compliant with the REAL ID standards. However, a significant percentage could face inconveniences, as many people still possess non-REAL ID systems. Essential documents to obtain a REAL ID include proof of identity and residency, and while some states have made the process straightforward, others have complicated the pathway for eligible individuals.
