Recent reports indicate that while internet service providers (ISPs) have seen a slight increase in customer satisfaction, many users still express dissatisfaction. The American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) revealed that, despite a 4% rise in satisfaction levels, ISPs continue to rank near the bottom of all industries. Consumers reported an average satisfaction score of 71 out of 100, marking the highest level since the ACSI initiated measurements in 2013. This trend coincided with the growing availability of fiber internet services, which scored better than non-fiber options.

As the competition in internet services heats up with advancements in technology and infrastructure, many customers are hopeful for continuous improvement. Notably, AT&T Fiber and Verizon Fios emerged as the top-rated ISPs, showing that services which prioritize reliability and faster speeds tend to garner better customer experiences. However, it's clear that the overall satisfaction with ISPs falls short when compared to consumer expectations across other industries.
