The 2026 Subaru Solterra EV is set to make significant advancements, positioning itself as a more competitive offering in the electric vehicle market. Notable improvements include an increase in horsepower, with the standard model now delivering 233 hp, up from 215 hp, and the new XT variant boasting an impressive 338 hp. This enhancement enables the XT to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in under five seconds, which marks a considerable performance boost.

In terms of range, the 2026 Solterra features a 75-kWh battery that allows for over 285 miles on a single charge—this represents a significant leap from the previous model's range of approximately 222 to 227 miles. Additionally, the vehicle now includes a NACS charging port, facilitating quicker charging at compatible stations, including Tesla Superchargers.
