Choose a VEVOR stainless-steel submersible well pump for your water-transfer or irrigation system. This listing offers seven configurations with different power ratings, supply voltages and controller types. Match the selected configuration to your electrical supply and installation requirements before ordering.

• Configuration-specific performance: maximum flow varies from 28 to 37 GPM. Use the comparison below to identify your selected model.
• Stainless-steel construction: pump housings and intake filtration mesh are designed for submerged water pumping.
• Controller choice: select a built-in controller or a model supplied with an external starter box.
• Dry-running warning: do not operate without water or at low water levels.

Configuration Comparison

Each row describes one selectable product. All listed electrical supplies are AC, 60 Hz. Maximum flow ratings describe model limits; select a pump using its installation instructions and required operating conditions.

Discharge connection: 1-1/4 inch NPT. Confirm the selected model's physical clearance and piping requirements before installation; a nominal well size alone does not establish fit.

Pump Construction by Configuration

1 HP, 115 V, built-in controller

Model 4SSM5/6 uses six-stage thermoplastic impellers. The illustration identifies the rope attachment, bearing and rotor details for this configuration.

1.5 HP, 115 V, external starter box

Model 4SSM5/8 uses eight-stage thermoplastic impellers and an external starter box. Select this option when your installation calls for this controller arrangement.

0.5 HP, 115 V, built-in controller

Model 4SSM4/5 uses five-stage thermoplastic impellers and has a maximum flow rating of 28 GPM.

31.7 GPM configurations

The 4SSM5/6-1, 4SSM5/8-1, 4SSM5/6-2 and 4SSM5/12-1 models use stainless-steel intake filtration mesh. Their voltage, power and controller requirements differ; match the exact SKU in the table.

For the 0.5 HP built-in, 1 HP built-in and 1.5 HP external-control models, the product details also list a wire-splice kit. Do not assume the same accessory set is supplied with a different model.

Water Transfer and Irrigation

These pump configurations are intended for well-water transfer and irrigation applications. Choose the exact model for the water source, available power and installation conditions. The scene below illustrates an irrigation application rather than a guaranteed coverage area or flow at a particular distance.

Installation and Care

• Verify the selected 115 V or 230 V supply, 60 Hz frequency and controller arrangement before connection. Follow the selected model's installation instructions.
• Measure the well casing's internal clearance, including the space needed for the pump and cable. For models 4SSM5/6-1, 4SSM5/8-1, 4SSM5/6-2 and 4SSM5/12-1, the product instructions specify a casing diameter at least 10 mm larger than the pump diameter.
• Keep the pump submerged at a suitable operating water level. Do not run it dry.
• Check the intake mesh and sediment conditions. The newer-model instructions recommend a gauze layer at the inlet for a newly drilled well.
• Use model-specific guidance for mounting, check valves and system connections; controller and accessory arrangements are not interchangeable across every option.

Product Questions

How do I select the correct version?

Match the required power, voltage and controller type, then check the model and SKU in the configuration table. Do not choose by horsepower alone.

Does every option use 115 V?

No. SKU SJQSB1HP37GP1QD89V4 is the 230 V external-control version. The other six configurations listed here use 115 V. All use 60 Hz AC supplies.

Is a separate starter box included?

It is included with the options labeled External Starter Box. Built-in options have the controller integrated into the pump.

Are flow ratings the same for all models?

No. The 0.5 HP built-in model is rated at a maximum of 28 GPM. The 1 HP built-in and 1.5 HP external-control models are rated at 37 GPM. The other four models are rated at 31.7 GPM.

Can the pump run without water?

No. Do not operate it without water or at a low water level.
